Light On the Sound - TP
- LIGHT ON THE SOUND 2 - A black ink and black and gray color pencil drawing on an 11 x 14 size vellum paper. Here are two separate drawings that were used as a double page spread and title page for the story, "Light On the Sound," by Somtow Sucharitkul, in Isaac Asimov's Science Fiction Magazine, Aug.1980.
This issue of Asimov's magazine was the last one that contained my artwork. At first I thought that my dis-cordant phone conversation with the art editor, involving the colors on my cover painting was the reason I stopped getting assignments, but I later found out that another company had purchased the magazine and they hired new editors to run the ship. So, I assume that the new editors had other artists in mind to do the illustrations
